North Korean Submarines Can Destroy West Coast Cities

Pyongyang, Aug.2004.- North Korea has purchased 12 Soviet submarines with missile tubes that can be utilized to fire missiles 2,500 kilometers which is about 1,500 miles. Since North Korea has nuclear bombs, very long range missiles that can travel 6,800 miles and very able scientists, it should be easy for the scientists to develop a missile that can utilize the submarine missile tubes. North Korea has threatened in the past to destroy Los Angeles and now it will be easy to do so when they choose to do so. A Bayside apparition message pictured a short and fat oriental pushing the nuclear button. The head of state in North Korea fits that description.

BERLIN (Reuters) - North Korea is deploying new land and sea based ballistic missiles that can carry nuclear warheads and may have sufficient range to hit the United States, according to the authoritative Jane= s Defense Weekly.

Jane= s said the two new systems appeared to be based on a decommissioned Soviet submarine-launched ballistic missile, the R-27.

It said communist North Korea had acquired the know-how during the 1990s from Russian missile specialists and by buying 12 former Soviet submarines which had been sold for scrap metal but retained key elements of their missile launch systems.

Jane= s which did not specify its sources, said the sea-based missile was potentially the more threatening of the two new weapons systems.

A It would fundamentally alter the missile threat posed by the DPRK (Democratic People= s Republic of Korea) and could finally provide its leadership with something that it has long sought to obtain C the ability to directly threaten the continental U. S., the weekly said.

Apart from targeting the United States, South Korea or Japan, cash strapped North Korea might seek to sell the technology to countries that have bought its missiles in the past, with Iran a prime candidate, the article added.

Ian Kemp, news editor of Jane= s Defense Weekly, said North Korea would only spend the money and effort on developing such missiles if it intended to fit them with nuclear warheads.

A Its pretty certain the North Koreans would not be developing these unless they were intended for weapons of mass destruction warheads, and the nuclear warhead is far and away the most potent of those,@ he told Reuters.

NUCLEAR POTENTIAL UNCLEAR

North Korea pulled out of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty in January 2003 and is locked in long-running crisis talks with the United States, China, Russia, Japan and South Korea over terms for scrapping its atomic weapons program.

The extent of that program remains unclear, although North Korea= s deputy foreign minister was quoted as telling a senior U.S. official last year that Pyongyang possessed nuclear weapons.

Jane= s said the new land-based system had an estimated range of 2,500 to 4,000 km (1,560 to 2,500 miles), and the sea-based system, launchable from a submarine or ship, had a range of at least 2,500 km.

A If you can get a missile aboard a warship, in particular aboard a submarine... you can move your submarine to strike at targets such as Hawaii or the United States, just as examples. Whereas it would be much more difficult to actually develop a ground-launched missile to achieve that sort of range,@ Kemp said.

Until now only the United States, Russia, Britain, France and China have been known to possess submarine-launched nuclear weapons, although there has been speculation that Israel has a similar capability.

Jane= s said North Korea appeared to have acquired the R-27 technology from Russian missile experts based in the Urals city of Chelyabinsk. It said one such group was detained in 1992 when about to fly to North Korea, but others visited later.

It said Pyongyang was also helped by the purchase, through a Japanese trading company, of 12 decommissioned Russian Foxtrot-class and Golf II-class submarines which were sold for scrap in 1993.

It said the missiles and electronic firing systems had been removed, but the submarines retained their launch tubes and stabilization sub-systems.

Fidelis et Verus Needs Your Help!

Our gross income is constantly dropping from $19,550 in 2002 to $15,120 in 2003. Our gross income as of September 20, 2004 has been only $5,023 for the entire year 2004. These totals include book orders, donations, subscriptions out of which we must pay overhead, purchase books for which we owe $1395.00 to publishers which were bought over a year ago, buy paper, toner, envelopes, postage to mail Fidelis et Verus.

We are in danger of ceasing to exist as a publication. We have used up our large collection of canned goods and other foodstuffs. Our 1989 Nissan Sentra car is working fine with 159,281 miles. The HPLJ4Si duplex laser printer is working fine and saving us $500 printing costs per issue which lowers the cost per issue to about $145 plus the $420 postage costs. The photocopier is working fine but only prints on one side. We failed to get enough to buy a duplex photocopier (prints on both sides of the paper at same time) for $900.00.

Future issues will have 2 pages of books for sale and 6 pages of news and articles. We have a 120 page book catalog available for free which consists of 92 pages of Tan books and 28 pages of our 3 book lists which consist of many Catholic publishers and conspiracy books on who really controls world institutions and events.

Bayside Books Going out of Print Soon.

The printing of the Bayside books proved to be enormously time consuming as the paper had to be put thru a second time on the other side of the paper after storing for one week the first page printing in piles weighed down with heavy weights to flatten out the pages so they could go thru the copier a second time. The cheapest copier that could do this in one process is $900 which we cannot afford nor obtain a loan to buy.

Thus these books below will not be reprinted under current circumstances and once they are gone will no longer be available. They cost $9.95 plus $3.50 postage.

1. Blue Book of Our Lady of the Roses has the entire story of the Bayside Apparitions in New York from 1970-1994, 170 pages. 20 copies left.

2. Listen To Me is a 130 page book that lists the Bayside Messages from A-Z such as Armageddon and then refers the reader to the Messages that cover that subject. 4 copies left.

3. The Shepherds Are Lost is a 360 page book that proves that an Italian Actor presented himself as Pope Paul VI from 1972-1978. Out of print. All copies were sold.

FOR THE GLORY OF GOD.

Q. What do you mean by these words, for his own glory?

A. I mean that God, by creating intelligent beings, capable of knowing and loving him, and inferior creatures for their use and benefit, displays to those beings his own divine perfections, his infinite power, wisdom and goodness, that they may give glory to him, and render him the just homage of love, gratitude, obedience and praise. Thus the holy scripture, speaking of the creation of man, says, A God set his eyes upon their hearts, to show them the greatness of his works, that they might praise the name which he hath sanctified, and glory in his wondrous acts, A Ecclus. Xvii. 7, 8.

Q. Does God still continue to preserve all things in the being which he gave them, or can they subsist without him, once they are made?

A. As God alone has being essentially, and of himself, and is independent of any other; so no creature has any being at all of itself, but is wholly dependent upon God; without whose continual conservation no creature could subsist for one instant; so that, were God for an instant to withdraw his almighty hand from any creature, it would immediately fall back to its primitive nothing; for A he upholdeth all things by the word of his power,@ Heb. I,3. A He is before all, and by him all things consists, A Col. I.17. And therefore the wiseman justly said to God, A How could anything endure if thou wouldst not? Or be preserved, if not called by thee? Wis. Xi.26. On this account, God the Son declares, that He and his father are always working, to-wit: by the continual preservation of all creatures. A But Jesus answered them, A My Father worketh until now, and I work,@ John v.17.

Q. Can God destroy the whole world if he wills, and in what manner he pleases?

A. Most undoubtedly; for, as all creatures depend entirely on him, and have their very being and all their powers and faculties only from him, and at his pleasure; so he is sole maker, to do with all and every one of them what he wills; nor is there any thing that can resist or oppose him. Hence he says himself, A My word which shall go forth from my mouth, shall not return to me void; but it shall do whatever I please, and shall prosper in the things for which I sent it,@ Isa. Lv.11. And the royal Prophet declares, that, A The Lord is great, and our God is above all gods; whatsoever the Lord pleased, he hath done in heaven, in earth, in the sea, and in all the depths,@ Psalm cxxxiv. 5,6. A All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing before him; and he doth according to his will as well with the powers of heaven, as among the inhabitants of the earth; and there is none that can resist his hand, and say to him, Why hast thou done it?@ Dan. Iv.32. This was the comfort of the servants of God in their distress, A We trust, said they, in the Almighty lord, who at a beck can utterly destroy both them that come against us and the whole world, A 2 Macch. Viii. 18. And the holy scriptures are full of the wonderful effects of his Almighty power, and of his absolute dominion over all his creatures. There we are informed that at one time he stopped the course of the sun for several hours; that at another he made it even go back for 10 degrees on the dial; and that he deprived it it of its light at the death of Christ; that he divided the Red Sea in two, and gave his people a passage through the midst of it on dry ground; that he rained down food to them from heaven in the desert; that he gave them water out of the hard rock; that he changed the waters in Egypt into blood, and at the marriage of Cana, into exquisite wine; that he hindered the fiery furnace from touching his faithful servants who were thrown into it; that he raised the dead to life, commanded the winds and sea, cured all diseases, cast out devils, with many other such wonders, in an instant, and by his word alone; so that the scripture justly declares, that A the Lord is terrible and exceeding great, and his power is admirable,@ Ecclus, xliii, 31.; for A he only is mighty, the King of kings, and Lord of lords,@ 1 Tim. Vi. 15.

Q. Can creatures produce any effect or do any thing of themselves, without the concurrence of Almighty God?

A. All the powers which creatures have to produce any thing, are given them by God, and depend entirely on his preservation: They therefore are only as instruments in his hand for accomplishing his will; of which, however he has no need. They, indeed, can act with his concurrence, according to the powers he has given them; but he is the original cause on which they and all the effects they produce depend. Thus, it is God A who covereth the heavens with clouds and prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow on the mountains and herbs for the service of man,@ Ps. Cxlvi.8. Also, A the Most High hath created medicines out of the earth---but all healing is from God,@ Ecclus. Xxxviii.1,4. For, A it was neither herb nor mollifying plaster that healed them; but thy word, O Lord, which heals all things,@ Wisd. Xvi. 12. So also Isaiah says, A Lord thou wilt give us peace, for thou hast wrought all our works for us,@ Isa. Xxvi, 12.-- And St. Paul, A There are diversities of operations; but it is the same God which worketh all in all,@ 1Cor. Xii.6. A Neither he that planteth is any thing, nor he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase,@ 1Cor. Iii. 7. For A without me, saith God himself, you can do nothing,@ Jo. Xv. 5. And A it is God that worketh in you, both to will and to accomplish, according to his good will,@ Phil. Ii. 13.

Exceedingly/ Imminently Urgent!

Message/Vision via Louise Starr Tomkiel, V+J

September 20, 2004----9:35 A.M.

Louise began to receive a message/vision from God and said, "Jesus, please cover me with Your Most Precious Blood."

Vision: As God was speaking to Louise she was being shown all that was described in the following message.

Then God spoke, "A great quake will rock the West coast opening the earth and devouring nearly all. Dams will break. Tidal waves will grab. Billions of lives will be lost.

Volcanoes will erupt and the effect of all will be felt North to South. It will trigger quakes and great destruction around the globe for all is inner woven under the mighty seas

.

Hurricanes will grow and follow one another very closely. The drastic change in temperature will cause tornadoes that will rip mercilessly and leave a clear path of destruction.

The earth will tremble and shake from pole to pole. Both sub-freezing and boiling temperatures will be felt in every land.

Now evil men will also aim to destroy but in the end Hell will devour them.

Your homes, your property, your creatures, yourselves MUST be prepared. All MUST be blessed as I have previously instructed you. Upon these structures, these properties, these living things I will place My Angels of Protection. I will mark you, your doors, your creatures, your land. Those not marked by Me will die forever.

Many people, many creatures who bear My mark, even though you die, will come to Me in Heaven. Those marked by satan are eternally doomed. (chip)

Destruction will now run rampant. It will grow and spread rapidly. All the elements will be contaminated. Suffering and death will be everywhere.

Then the earth will be divided and many very small lands will be made anew. A small portion of my remnant children and creatures will survive and I will place them on these lands to once again propagate. I will replant all vegetation and I will assist you. A new Heavens and a new Earth I will provide and My peace will finally reign.

Hearts will love and man and beast will work the land together. All evil, all sin will be gone. Only peace will reign.

The days of Judgment are today upon you. My Anger will now be seen and felt all over the land. Blood will flow as water where once there were streets. The earth will be barren. Sickness, suffering and death will be everywhere.

You have ignored Me! You have shoved Me aside! You have sold your souls to satan for a few years of so-called freedom. Now, because of your sins, I will send My Wrath upon you, your house, your country, your family. I will destroy all you who disown Me, your God. I will destroy each and everyone of your false gods. I will send fire from Heaven until all is cleansed. I will purge. I will not hear the cries of evil men (people) but I will ignore you as you have chosen to shun Me, to persecute Me, to daily crucify Me.

This day has begun! Holy Michael and satan are now at war and the battle will intensify daily. The Angels are tipping their bowls as the trumpets blare.

Remember My dear remnant souls, I, your God and Savior WILL assist you for your love, your faithfulness deserves a reward. Heaven awaits you! Peace will be lived on earth as I intended, for one thousand years. (His Time)

During this time I will reign as your beloved Eucharistic King. I will dwell among you by living in your hearts.

Fear not! Be completely prepared! Pray! Look and see all the signs. Follow Me! Obey Me as I lead you to safety. Do not look back! My Angels will direct you! It is so! I, your God, have spoken!!!"

Ed. We do not know the seer so do not vouch for her but the message is the same as many world seers have been given that we are all living on borrowed time. Not much time left and then there will be terrible devastation.

U.S. Bishops' Governance Shouldn't Distance Them From Flock, Says Pope

Advice in Wake of Sex-Abuse Scandals.

CASTEL GANDOLFO, Italy, SEPT. 12, 2004 (Zenit.org).- Renewal of the Church in the United States requires holiness in bishops as well as a style of governance than doesn't distance pastors from their flocks, says John Paul II.

This was part of the message the Pope left with the bishops of the ecclesiastical region of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with whom he met Saturday at the papal summer residence of Castel Gandolfo. The bishops were concluding their five-yearly visit to the Vatican.

Following his personal meetings with U.S. bishops over the past few months, the Holy Father noted prelates' "concern about the crisis of confidence in the Church's leadership provoked by the recent sexual abuse scandals."

There is "the general call for accountability in the Church's governance on every level and the relations between bishops, clergy and the lay faithful," he said.

"I am convinced that today, as at every critical moment in her history, the Church will find the resources for an authentic self-renewal in the wisdom, vision and zeal of bishops outstanding for their holiness," John Paul II said.

"Saintly reformers like Gregory the Great, Charles Borromeo and Pius X understood that the Church is only authentically 're-formed' when she returns to her origins in a conscious reappropriation of the apostolic Tradition and a purifying re-evaluation of her institutions in the light of the Gospel," the Pope said.

"In the present circumstances of the Church in America, this will entail a spiritual discernment and critique of certain styles of governance which, even in the name of a legitimate concern for good administration and responsible oversight, can run the risk of distancing the pastor from the members of his flock, and obscuring his image as their father and brother in Christ," the Holy Father cautioned.

Each bishop must develop "a pastoral style which is ever more open to collaboration with all grounded in a clear understanding of the relationship between the ministerial priesthood and the common priesthood of the baptized," he continued.

"While the bishop himself remains responsible for the authoritative decisions which he is called to make in the exercise of his pastoral governance, ecclesial communion also presupposes the participation of every category of the faithful, inasmuch as they share responsibility for the good of the particular Church which they themselves form," the Pope said.

"Within a sound ecclesiology of communion, a commitment to creating better structures of participation, consultation and shared responsibility should not be misunderstood as a concession to a secular democratic model of governance, but as an intrinsic requirement of the exercise of episcopal authority and a necessary means of strengthening that authority," John Paul II added.

"Experience shows that when priority is mainly given to outward stability, the impetus to personal conversion, ecclesial renewal and missionary zeal can be lost and a false sense of security can ensue," he warned.

"The painful period of self-examination provoked by the events of the past two years will bear spiritual fruit only if it leads the whole Catholic community in America to a deeper understanding of the Church's authentic nature and mission, and a more intense commitment to making the Church in your country reflect, in every aspect of her life, the light of Christ's grace and truth," the Holy Father said.

"Here," he added, "I can only state once more my profound conviction that the documents of the Second Vatican Council need to be carefully studied and taken to heart by all the faithful, since these normative texts of the magisterium offer the basis for a genuine ecclesial renewal in obedience to the will of Christ and in conformity with the Church's apostolic Tradition."

CASTEL GANDOLFO, Italy, SEPT. 12, 2004 (Zenit.org).- John Paul II highlighted three imperatives for Christians amid a world scourged by violence: contemplation, communion and mission.

"Contemplation, to journey on the path of holiness; communion, to foster the spirituality of unity; mission, to be evangelical ferment in every place," the Pope told several hundred people gathered today at the papal summer residence near Rome.

The Holy Father expressed the same imperatives last Sunday to the 250,000 people who gathered in Loreto, Italy, for the beatification of Alberto Marvelli, Pina Suriano and Pere Tarrés i Claret. Many of the 250,000 were members of Italian Catholic Action.

John Paul II began his meeting today with pilgrims by recalling the feast of the Name of Mary and asking the Mother of God to "watch over humanity at this time marked by overwhelming explosions of violence."

"May she especially watch over the new generations, desirous of building a future of hope for all," he added before praying the midday Angelus.

"I perceived this intense aspiration for a world of justice and peace also in the children, youths and adults of Catholic Action," the Holy Father continued. "The Church counts on the active presence of Catholic Action and on its faithful dedication to the great cause of the Kingdom of Christ."

He added: "I also look to Catholic Action with great confidence and encourage all the members to be generous witnesses of the joyous evangelical proclamation, to give back hope to today's society in search of peace."

Ed. We do not have Catholic Action Organization in North America. It has been proven to be very effective in utilizing the zeal and energy of young people. This group came to our parish from South America for one year and catechized and enumerated the parish finding many fallen away Catholics and future Catholics.

CASTEL GANDOLFO, Italy, SEPT. 12, 2004 (Zenit.org).- Here is the text of an address that Cardinal Justin Rigali of Philadelphia gave Saturday when bishops of the ecclesiastical region of Pennsylvania and New Jersey met with John Paul II.

Most Holy Father,

The bishops of the Church that is in Pennsylvania and New Jersey gather today in the Holy Spirit around the sacred person of Your Holiness, Bishop of Rome, Successor of Peter and Vicar of Christ for the universal Church.

We rejoice in this hour of ecclesial unity, and with you, Holy Father, we profess our one holy Catholic and apostolic faith. With you we proclaim Jesus Christ as the Son of the living God, the Son of the Eternal Father, the Son of the Virgin Mary, the Savior of the world.

We represent a vast geographical area, rich in the history of the United States, and rich in the works of faith and love of our people. We bring with us the hopes and joys, the anxieties, the longings and the strivings of all our people, particularly our priests. We are blessed that in our group of 33 bishops, which include the metropolitan and suffragans of Philadelphia and Newark, we have eight bishops of Eastern Churches. These include the archeparchs of Philadelphia of the Ukrainians, and Pittsburgh of the Byzantines. The latter is accompanied by three suffragan eparchs. In addition we have the bishops of the Romanian Byzantine and Syrian eparchies. All of this is a sign of the rich ethnic backgrounds and cultures of our people. Our group takes in, besides the ordinaries, auxiliary and retired auxiliary bishops and the diocesan administrator of Harrisburg. Five of our bishops have just been recently ordained.

All of us cherish this time of being with Your Holiness, just as the apostles cherished the opportunity to be with Jesus before setting out on their mission. We want you to know how much strength we draw from your teaching and example, which faithfully reflect the love of Christ the Good Shepherd, who lays down his life for the flock.

Your Petrine teaching and pastoral ministry over the years have confirmed us in the faith. You have visited some of our dioceses, and next month the Latin and Ukrainian Archdioceses of Philadelphia will commemorate the 25th anniversary of your presence among us.

Justin Cardinal Rigali, archbishop of Philadelphia.
